some minor product changes. It is significantly smaller, lighter and
more resistant to water, dust and shock than the original Iridium
9500 and is ideal for industrial or rugged conditions, yet appealing
to the traveling professional.

number, through the use of a mini personal subscriber identity module

• You are provided with a twelve-digit number that remains
the same, whatever the location.
Transmit Data
• This service is available for all handsets equipped with
a Data Kit (connection cable, adapter, docking station and CD)
• Standard service runs at 2.4 bps using your phone as the
modem. Modem speed can be boosted to 9.6bps using a compression
program. Iridium supports messaging, paging & circuit-switched
data and short burst data.
