Only Globalstar uses Path Diversity™. All satellite phones
need to have a direct view of a satellite in order to communicate.
Only
Globalstar gives you access to at least 2 and up to 4 satellites
at the same time to make or receive calls. The multiple satellites
combine their signals to ensure maximum service quality. As satellites
constantly move in and out of view, they seamlessly pick up and
transfer calls in progress, reducing the possibility of dropped
or blocked calls, and making for better coverage in canyons or near

traditional communications may never work. Globalstar uses a
48-satellite network that takes advantage of proven satellite
technology. The satellites simply receive call signals and relay
them back to Globalstar gateways. There is no voice delay
when using Globalstar service due to the satellites' low-earth

satellite orbit is designed to work best in Temperate Zones like North
